Le satellite destin\u00e9 \u00e0 surveiller l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 photosynth\u00e9tique de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation terrestre, qui dialoguera tr\u00e8s probablement avec une peinture Renner Italia, sera lanc\u00e9 en 2025 et non en 2023 comme pr\u00e9vu initialement. La d\u00e9finition de la nouvelle date semble avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9e par la crise pand\u00e9mique qui a ralenti les plans de l&rsquo;ESA. Flex d\u00e9collera de la base de l&rsquo;Esa \u00e0 Kourou, en Guyane fran\u00e7aise, en 2025 et se placera en orbite \u00e0 814 km du sol.   <\/p>\n<h3>Flex et la sant\u00e9 de notre plan\u00e8te<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/earth.esa.int\/eogateway\/missions\/flex\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La mission FLEX (FLuorescence EXplorer)<\/a> aura pour ambition de cartographier, pendant au moins trois ans et demi, la fluorescence de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation mondiale afin de mesurer son activit\u00e9 photosynth\u00e9tique et, par cons\u00e9quent, son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9. Flex pourra \u00e9galement enregistrer l&rsquo;indice de r\u00e9flectance photochimique et la temp\u00e9rature de surface. L&rsquo;objectif est la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire. Un d\u00e9fi d\u00e9cisif \u00e0 quelques jours du franchissement du seuil des 8 000 000. \u00c0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle, aucun instrument n&rsquo;est en mesure de mesurer l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 photosynth\u00e9tique depuis l&rsquo;espace. Flex sera en mesure de le faire. Flex volera en tandem avec la mission Copernicus Sentinel-3, et travaillera en particulier en combinaison avec les instruments OLCI et SLSTR transport\u00e9s par Sentinel-3. Cette mission est la huiti\u00e8me du programme Earth Explorer &#8211; Plan\u00e8te vivante.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-75440 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/flex2025-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/flex2025-02.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/flex2025-02-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/flex2025-02-1024x540.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/flex2025-02-768x405.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Les instruments scientifiques fournis<\/h3>\n<p>Le spectrom\u00e8tre \u00e0 images de fluorescence \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution (Floris) est le fleuron de la mission Flex.<\/p>\n<p>Floris acquerra des donn\u00e9es dans la gamme spectrale 500 &#8211; 780 nm et aura un \u00e9chantillonnage de 0,1 nm dans les bandes de l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne (759-769 nm et 686-697 nm) et de 0,5-2,0 nm dans les bandes du bord rouge, de l&rsquo;absorption de la chlorophylle et du PRI (indice de r\u00e9flexion photochimique).<\/p>\n<h3>Le r\u00f4le de la peinture de Renner<\/h3>\n<p>Sur recommandation des chercheurs du CNR, <a href=\"https:\/\/verniciericerca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">le laboratoire Renner a formul\u00e9 un rev\u00eatement capable de maintenir l&rsquo;\u00e9mission d&rsquo;une mol\u00e9cule luminescente avec un signal de type v\u00e9g\u00e9tal<\/a>. Au cours de la mission de trois ans, le spectrom\u00e8tre Floris comparera la fluorescence variable de la chlorophylle \u00e0 celle d&rsquo;un \u00e9metteur dont le signal est constant et connu. Lancer une fus\u00e9e depuis l&rsquo;\u00e9quateur est beaucoup plus efficace que de la lancer depuis Rome ou Paris. Pourquoi ? Parce qu&rsquo;il exploite la vitesse de rotation de la terre. On objectera ici : mais tous les points de la Terre tournent autour de l&rsquo;axe en 24 heures. C&rsquo;est vrai ! Mais comme la Terre est sph\u00e9rique, une ville situ\u00e9e \u00e0 une latitude telle que Paris ou Rome trace une circonf\u00e9rence bien plus petite que celle de Kourou, qui n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;\u00e0 une courte distance de l&rsquo;\u00e9quateur. Et puisque tous les points de la Terre, comme nous l&rsquo;avons dit, mettent le m\u00eame temps pour faire un cercle complet, un point sur l&rsquo;\u00e9quateur se d\u00e9place \u00e0 une vitesse plus grande (et pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment augment\u00e9e de 460 m\/s).
